PhD Thesis

Title: Optimization of the product quality when recycling secondary raw materials with the focus on zinc-, lead- and silver containing concentrates

Due to the complexity of the residues, recycling processes result in a low grade product quality. The aim of the PhD is displayed by the optimization of the product quality with the focus on zinc-, lead- and silver containing concentrates through a hydrometallurgical process. Today, these types of materials are processed together with ores while the high metal content would be sufficient to use them directly in the primary winning processes, which in case of zinc, is represented by the electrolysis.
